Our Journey:

Established in 2016, The Kinder Lab embarked on an educational voyage that started as an extracurricular STEAM program exclusively for Pre-K pupils. Our dedication and love for learning transformed this vision, expanding our horizon to cater to students spanning Pre-K to High School. We are proud of our humble beginnings and even prouder of the significant milestones we've achieved since. A notable highlight was our successful proof of concept, executed at the Goddard School of Apex for one season. Immediately afterward, unforeseen challenges led to unforeseen opportunities to refine, experiment and play the concept forward. We took these experiences in stride, integrating them into our curriculum and program structure, allowing The Kinder Lab to evolve into a full-fledged track-out program.

The collective teaching experience of our owner-teachers stretches beyond two decades, demonstrating our commitment and prowess in the educational sector. A breakdown of our experience is as follows:

  • YouTube Channel: Regular, engaging, and well-produced content ensuring learning isn't bound by walls.

  • Kits for Home: Tailored educational kits for children to continue their STEAM education journey from the comfort of their homes.

Brandy Pierce Bio: Brandy Pierce's educational journey started in Aurora, Colorado, and blossomed during her teenage years in Fairfax, Virginia. Recognized consistently for her academic prowess, she was a regular on the honor roll. Yet, it was her jovial nature and her innate ability to entertain as the class clown that left a lasting impression. Initially enrolling in Virginia Tech with aspirations in vet medicine or Biology, she was guided by her passion for education during an internship at George Mason University. Encountering a Kindergarten class, she recognized her calling and pivoted to a career in teaching, with a focus on Pre-K to third grade. Throughout, her love for science remained undiminished, influencing both her teaching methodology and her approach to motherhood. As an educator and a mother to children with ADHD and high functioning Autism, Brandy combines knowledge, patience, and empathy in her approach, ensuring a tailored learning experience for all her students at Kinderlab.
